Duties to be performed:

The key duties to be performed by a sales agent include: Serving customers by selling our products and services and meeting customer needs; servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors; adjusting content of sales presentations; focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers; submitting orders by referring to price lists and service/product literature; keeping management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily reports, weekly work plans; monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing; recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments; etc.
